This hotel is awful. We are on the 8th floor and have to wait forever for the elevator to come get us. The breakfast has very little. And it's 40 minutes away from old town by public transport. After being free in bratislava it was hard to go back to a hotel that takes hours off our day. But first world problems.
A bus and a metro later we are in old Town. We checked out Charles bridge and then the four Seasons lobby. Dad loves his hotel lobbies. I wasn't feeling well so we took a little rest there.
We did a bit of shopping and then went on a free walking tour. It's not actually free but you tip at the end instead of paying ahead. It's similar to the idea of giving a waitress tips v. A waitress getting paid only by the restaurant. The more dependent they are on tips the more they work for you. And they tell you that. I've been on one in like 10 different European cities. They are a great way to get to know the city.
Our tour guide was from Prague and was full of energy. Exactly what we needed. We went through old town, new town, the Jewish quarter and a great view of the prague castle.
We then ate dinner in the Jewish quarter and took the near hour long journey back to the hotel.
