Yet, for all you numbers people here is the sum of my trip. In a day or two I'll provide one last whole picture. Maybe. If you are lucky.
Transport-
1 hop on/hop off tour
1 ambulance ride
3 bus rides
4 police escorts
6 train rides
7 plane rides
8 taxi rides
9 subway rides
Accomodations-
1 camel trek
1 failed hostel attempt
2 airbnbs
3 riads
4 hotels
Some low points-
A woman who told on me to the stewardesses because my folded legs obstructed her from fully putting her seat back.
Excessive heat.
Being manipulated and misled by marrakesh locals.
Getting my ass grabbed on the street.
A night spent with the toilet as my best friend.
My ice cream and the rest of me destroyed as I get hit by a truck.
Complications arising from my accidents.
An argument with a friend.
Loosing my luggage.
Rain.
And some highlights-
Eating a daily gorgeous breakfast.
Swimming on a beautiful terrace.
Experiencing a hammam.
Staying in amazing riads.
Cooking a tangine and aubergine salad.
Riding a camel in the sahara desert.
Ditching the camel and walking through the sahara desert.
Experiencing an overwhelming out pour of support from strangers, friends(both current and long lost) and family.
Eating lots and lots of spaghetti and bread and not feeling guilty about it.
Going out for tapas(and discovering croquettes).
Seeing small and large spanish towns.
Making a few friends.
Experiencing a proper beer hall.
Versailles.
Eating nothing but ham, cheese, bread and chocolate in paris.
A night out with proper parisens(and charlene/taraz).
Staying in a pub/hotel from the 14th century.
Retracing my footsteps with an old friend at Hever Castle.
Having a proper sunday roast with a friend I haven't seen in nearly half a lifetime.
Finally covering real ground in the British Museum.
Watching three full movies on the plane.
I do believe that the whole in this case is much better than the sum of its parts. And the good outweighed the bad.
